assist family in any way we can during this time

TYPES OF SERVICES WE PROVIDE

DIRECT CARE SERVICES

• In home and out of home - Short to Long term Support & Supervision

• Personal Care

• Meal Preparation

• Transportation to appointments

• Shopping assistance

• Over night supervision

• Domestic Support

• Post hospital discharge support may include:

• Transport to & from home, hospital, Doctors specialist health professionals, Occupational therapist, Physiotherapist & Hydrotherapy.

• Assisting clients with picking up scripts, shopping, banking, Medicare post discharge

• Settling clients into their home which may include assisting them with access to home, domestic, meal preparation

• Ongoing support may continue until client has recovered enough to no longer require support e.g Personal care and shopping and domestic services.

• Supervised Contact and reporting for children in Foster Care that include:

• Holistic assessment around history of child and current situation
• Intervention when inappropriate interaction occurs
• Modelling around appropriate parenting
• Observation and written reports

• 24 hours On-Call Emergency Respite & support services

• 24 hour On-Call response for Vital Call clients

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES

• Assessment and Retraining in Activities of Daily Living

• Attendant Care Evaluation

• Home Safety Assessment

• Home Modification

• Equipment Prescription

• Manual Handling Training

PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES

We can provide psychological support services by a trained and registered Psychologist. Especially in the following areas;

• Grief

• Anxiety

• Depression

• Trauma

• Stress
